Allan J. Joubert, D.C.
Dr. Allan Joubert is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa and graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. His interest in chiropractic developed out of his own personal experience - it was the only thing that got rid of a shoulder problem he had suffered with for years.
He came to the United States to pursue his chiropractic career and enrolled in the four year doctorate program at the presitigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated Magna cum Laude, as a Presidential Scholar and as a member of the Chiropractic Honor society, Pi Tau Delta.
He has done extensive post graduate studies and was awarded certification in the demanding Sacro-Occipital Technique through Sacro-Occipital Research Society International. This has prepared him to deal with complicated cases such as TMJ, headaches, scoliosis, vertigo, and infants that have developed flat heads either because of their position in the womb, or due to weak neck musculature. He is also equipped to determine whether the problem arises from incorrect foot and gait mechanics.
He has been examined and licensed in both the states of Washington and Idaho, and practiced for seven years in the Seattle area before relocating to Coeur D'Alene.
